Moe - SOLD
Moe has been sold to Oregon's Dave Murray. Royally bred off Amanda Milliken's ##Star and out of her Canadian National Champion, Ethel, that is off ##Craig, Moe lived up to his breeding and when I sent him off was shaping up to be a "once in a lifetime dog."
Dave had this to say about Moe:
"I would really like to take this opportunity to thank Amelia Smith for selling me Moe, that is going to be a great one. At the 2008 Zephyr, TX Trial he captured a first place with a 97 score out of 49 dogs in open. With a great start by Amelia, this dog has many more to come."
B'Sweet Kep - SOLD
Kep has found a new home in Maryland with Nancy Starkey at her purebred Blue Faced Leister sheep farm. Kep is off #Whiterose Kep and out of a daughter of Bobby Henderson's Bill and Dennis Gellings Jan, both of which are exceptional dogs.
Here's what Nancy has to say about Kep:
"I am absolutely delighted with B'Sweet Kep, the dog I that purchased from Amelia, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank her for selling me such a wonderful dog. Last fall, I was looking for a young dog with a solid training foundation to purchase, and Kep clearly fits the bill. Kep are I are extremely well-suited to each other, and he is exactly the dog that Amelia represented him to be. I am thoroughly pleased with this outstanding young dog, and dealing with Amelia was a complete pleasure."
Kit - SOLD
Warren and Maria Mick bought Kep from me just after the conclusion of his nursery year. This grandson of Bobby Henderson's ##Sweep was a natural from the day I started him. Maria has found success running him and made her first appearance at a national finals in 2007 running Kit. I wish her continued success with this talented dog.
Here's what Maria has to say about Kit:
"I was in the market for a trained, open level dog who would fit in with our “pack” (we currently have 12 dogs ranging in age from 3 to 17 years old) and capable of standing up to a busy trialing season. Kit worked for me right from the start. He’s very responsive, obedient and doesn’t require frequent correction. Kit has a good feel for his sheep and stays in contact. He doesn’t tense up at trials or in new situations and is a dog I can go confidently to the post with and know what to expect. Overall, Amelia did a wonderful job training Kit. She was also very thorough in seeing that Kit was in fact the right dog for me and that he would be properly cared for. She was forthcoming in discussing any potential weaknesses in the dog’s ability or potential health problems that may or may not be present at the time of sale. The only thing she forgot to mention was that he likes to sleep under the bed. I would recommend Amelia as a terrific dog trainer and an honest individual."
