Kensmuir Star is a Border Collie youngster that I have been raising and training since I received him from Kensmuir Stockdogs in River Falls, Wisconsin, in 2008 at 10 weeks of age. He is the subject of The Real Time Canine, which is a subscription based email newsletter that I publish and send out every Sunday. In it, I document his daily lessons, which include the earliest collar, leash and crate training, to his nursery win at the first dog trial he ever attended, and continuing today.
